This also came as a way of cautioning SME owners from a financial market that was against their growth in favor of the big corporations or big enterprises. To access loans SME owners, need to have collateral or guarantors, the loans are also accessed at a high interest making it hard for some to borrow and repay on time. As a result, many businesses do not live to see their second birthday. The objective of this study were: to evaluate the growth of SMEs that have received funding from the hustler fund, to analyze the extent to which the Hustler Fund has contributed to job creation within the SME sector, and to assess the challenges faced by small and medium sized enterprises in accessing the hustler fundfor business development in Roysambu Constituency.
