This work examines the evolutionary relationships among different species of moray eels as well as the population-level patterns of variation within four species of moray eels. Using a combination of mitochondrial and nuclear DNA, evolutionary relationships are unraveled and used to ask important questions about biogeography and the evolution of morphological features.
