The study focused on the cultivation of beet leaf (Beta vulgaris var. bengalensis) and its growth, yield, and quality in response to different sowing dates and nitrogen levels in Navsari, India, during the summer of 2020. The experiment used a split-plot design with varying sowing dates (January 1st and 2nd fortnight and February 1st fortnight) and nitrogen doses (0 kg/ha, 50 kg/ha, 75 kg/ha and 100 kg/ha) as factors. Various growth parameters, Yield parameters, Quality parameters and Soil characteristics were analyzed in the experiment. The economic analysis considered the cost of production, gross returns, net income, and the benefit-cost ratio.
