About Jayelle DeeJayelle writes from her heart and life experiences. You'll find pieces of her in every character and plot. As a survivor of childhood sexual abuse, understanding the healing process and the effects of trauma was a puzzle she endeavored to work on. Understanding herself, her trauma, and how to heal those old wounds consumed her. She began writing the Breaking Fancy series as a form of therapy. "My goal was to tell an interesting, entertaining story, while promoting healthy intimacy, courage, and healing. Love is always possible."Art, music, and poetry have been the passionate fuel for the engine of her journey since she was a small child. Through the many roads of life, being creative was always one of her strengths. She continues to enjoy writing and immersing herself in stories. After working a slew of unfulfilling office jobs and experimenting with the many possible options of what to do with her creative nature, the story of Breaking Fancy called to her.
