Over the years, this quest has brought her to the attention of a terrorist group called Action Francaise, the French intelligence service and an international crime gang who believe she has knowledge of the missing pieces of the French crown jewels, stolen after the French revolution. However, before she has the opportunity to divulge the mission to her granddaughter, she has a heart attack and dies.British intelligence meanwhile, in the form of MI6 (international crimes) had previously set up an undercover clandestine meeting with Madame Aguirre at The Limes in an attempt to flush out evidence she claimed to have.
