Jacqueline Paolucci Taeschner has been a Pacific Northwest resident since 1939. A graduate of both Seattle University, B.A. English, 1960 and the University of Washington, M.A. English, 1972, Jacqueline has not only taught twenty-eight years in primary and secondary grades and university, but also along with husband, Robert, raised three children and eight German shepherds (usually two at a time). Her passions of writing, reading, illustrating, drawing and painting placed her with unique teachers. Mentored by Nelson Bentley in poetry and in her drawing and painting by Nicholas Damascus, Marvin Herard, and Cherry Brown, she brings uncommon sensitivity to her works. A past winner of art shows in Mercer Island, Federal Way, Edmonds, Bellingham, Queen Anne, and Burien, Jacqueline is also a published poet.
