Wireless communication systems are playing an essential role in modern society. Nowadays, wireless technology is widely used in either the commercial sectors such as wireless terminals, portable/hand-held computers, cellular communications, satellite communication, and vehicular communication etc. or the military sectors such as satellite, radar sonar etc. An antenna is one of the essential components of any wireless communication system. Extensive efforts are currently underway to develop multi-radio on a single module to address many wireless services over a varied frequency range. As a result, the printed antennas are the most popular candidate for these multi-radios due to their advantages like simple feeding, planarity, easy fabrication, low complexity, lightweight, mechanical robustness, and easily associated with monolithic microwave integrated circuits.
