Indices of sustainable development are complex and qualitative that is why Fuzzy system was used to identify and rank socio-economic dualities.

Dr. Jalil Khodaparast Shirazi obtained his PhD in 2009. He has published two books and several articles in different fields of Economics including duality, sustainable development, productivity and value engineering. He is a faculty member in Department of Economics, Shiraz Branch, Islamic Azad University, Shiraz, Iran.
