Mixture models play a vital role in many practical applications. For example, direct applications of finite mixture models are in fisheries research, economics, medicine, psychology, botany, agriculture, zoology, life testing, reliability and among others. So we attempt in this work, to contribute to shed light on this topic. By means of discussing a mixture of some distributions with Weibull distribution , like Exponential, Pareto and Erlang, named as -distribution, and mix -distribution with Exponential distribution (M DED)with discussion some of their properties.
