Produktbeschreibung
The hope for this book is that it will help the millions of Americans counting on the Social Security System for financial support now and in the future understand why benefits paid by the System could either end or be significantly reduced after 2037. Trustees of the System say a 25 percent cut in benefits (or an increase in taxes) will be required by 2037 in order for the System to continue to operate. For the millions of Americans who currently depend on Social Security and the millions of young Americans who will depend on the System after 2037 a 25 percent cut in benefits could force millions into poverty. This book presents scientific evidence that the main cause of this crisis is the loss of millions of potential contributors to the System critical for the Systems ability to pay benefits because of a significant shift in the attitude toward and treatment of unborn children over the past 40 years. The book also explains how the root cause of the problem perhaps is a misunderstanding of how morality actually works when it comes to dealing with issues of life. Regardless of how one feels about the life of the unborn the fact is the loss of generations of potential contributors to the Social Security System is destroying the System millions of Americans depend on and will depend on to finance the basic needs of life. After 2037 a $1,000 monthly benefit will drop to $750 or a worker who now pays $300 per month to Social Security will pay $500 per month. As there are limits to benefit cuts and tax increases if the illogical moral thinking and the destruction of human lives continue at current rates the System eventually will be destroyed altogether and illogical moral thinking most likely would be the reason why.
