James R. Ivey, Sr. (1942-1992), a true "Sonneteer" born five centuries late, was an award-winning poet born and raised in Dothan, Alabama. He was a sailor, salesman, and scholar of classic English literature. James R. Ivey, (Jr.), MBA, MS, is a Helicopter pilot, writer, speaker, and life coach. He spent 23 years in the U.S. Army and Air Force and is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Counseling. He is the founder of Joy Life Group and co-founder of Ivey Leaf Publishing.
