Ezekiel 10 vs 2-7: 2 Son of man, speak to the children of thy people, and say unto them, When I bring the sword upon a land, if the people of the land take a man of their coasts, and set him for their watchman: 3 If when he seeth the sword come upon the land, he blow the trumpet, and warn the people; 4 Then whosoever heareth the sound of the trumpet, and taketh not warning; if the sword come, and take him away, his blood shall be upon his own head. 5 He heard the sound of the trumpet, and took not warning; his blood shall be upon him. But he that taketh warning shall deliver his soul. 6 But if the watchman see the sword come, and blow not the trumpet, and the people be not warned; if the sword come, and take any person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at the watchman's hand. 7 So thou, O son of man, I have set thee a watchman unto the house of Israel; therefore thou shalt hear the word at my mouth, and warn them from me Hosea 9 vs 8: 8 The watchman of Ephraim was with my God: but the prophet is a snare of a fowler in all his ways, and hatred in the house of his God. The itching ear preacher takes a sharp two edge sword and twists it into a dull knife. Paul said that in the last days there will be a form of religion but denying the power thereof for they will not endure sound doctrine. The power of the gospel is the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is the spirit of truth. All lies are created by the devil. If a preacher does not preach the truth he is representing the devil and not Jesus. Jesus says that his sheep hear his voice, and no other voice will they hear. But the reality of life is that traditions are indoctrinated into all dominations. I have never seen a denomination, even though professing to be based on the bible, which does not have some false doctrine embedded into their articles of faith. And the "preachers" will perpetuate those false doctrines even when contradicted by the direct words of Jesus. And I CANNOT get anyone professing to be a preacher to accept the direct words of Jesus although written in RED in the bible. And IF a church calls a preacher they call one who propagates the lies they have heard falsely preached as tradition all their lives.
