Dr. Jamie Turner is an engineering professor by day and a piano teacher and mother of three by night. This book was inspired by Jamie's garden, which really does get eaten by caterpillars every year! RuthAnne likes to spend time with her four kids and husband, riding dirt bikes, camping at the beach, and painting the kids walls. She currently lives in Texas but was transplanted from Colorado, where she earned an Associates of Fine Arts from Red Rocks Community College in Lakewood. RuthAnne is currently working on her bachelor's degree at Lamar University. RuthAnne Allred is the main illustrator and mother of four. She is a motorcycle-riding gardener and a very talented artist. Her children were used as inspiration for the artwork. Shannon Turner is our expert urban gardener, cheese maker, geologist, and mother of four. She is the author of the gardening appendices contained at the end of the book.
