This book presents a summary of all the important knowledge that author gained in connection with the research of gifted children of preschool age. Particular chapters are devoted to the history of giftedness and development of professional approaches to giftedness. Jana Marie Havigerová is doctor of psychology graduated at Masaryk University in Brno, Czech Republic. She currently works as a lecturer and teaches disciplines of psychology at University of Hradec Králové. Her research deals mainly with themes of implicit theories, verbal negation and giftedness. She realizes workshops on positive communication.
