Jane McNorgan normally writes short stories and poetry, but when her grandson put a bean up his nose, just like his mother did 30 years previously, Jane knew that she had to dive into children's literature and write "Do You Have a Bean Up Your Nose?" Jane is a high school teacher in Ottawa, Ontario and taught "Writer's Craft" for many years. Her creative non-fiction pieces have been published in food industry magazines. Most of her stories develop while she is kayaking, hiking, or daydreaming in a hammock.
