Janet Jeffery was born in 1948 in a mining village in the county of West Yorkshire in England. She attended Secondary Girls School in Moorthorpe, West Yorkshire. Having been educated by the state, Janet worked mainly in retail. She wasn¿t satisfied with that field, so Janet went to school where she achieved an Advanced Level qualification in Advanced Psychology and an A Grade in English. After trying her hand at veterinarian practise, she worked at a Chemist group, where she passed the city and guild National Vocational Qualification (NVQs) to become a qualified Pharmacy-Dispensing Technician. Then, in 2007, Janet retired from working altogether. In between all that, she had gotten married in 1986 and has a grown son. Janet enjoys writing, gardening, walking and swimming. The Kingdom of Toppadere is her first book. If Janet writes more book, they will likely be as enticing as this one.
