Autorenporträt
JANET WAYMARK was awarded a PhD by Birkbeck, University of London, for a study of landed estates in Dorset from 1870. She taught garden history at Birkbeck on an MA course she helped to set up. Her previous books are MODERN GARDEN DESIGN: INNOVATION SINCE 1900, published by Thames and Hudson in 2003, and THOMAS MAWSON: LIFE, GARDENS and LANDSCAPES, published by Frances Lincoln in 2009.
