Autorenporträt
Jannie Pilgrim is a Human Resource Professional with a focus on personal development. Jannie's experience includes: recruitment/talent acquisition, campus recruitment, MBA recruitment, mentoring programs, inclusion recruiting, training, facilitation, job enrichment, diversity and inclusion solutions. She never envisioned that her work as an HR professional would lead her to write children's books. After her son Garrett was born - her vision on personal development expanded beyond the boardroom. On walks with her son, she told him tales of a young Prince Garrett and his faithful companion Zeus. These stories became favorites and she was encouraged to make them into books. Today, the multimedia book series centers around education in a fun and playful way. It offers insight into exploring possibilities & purpose, community, connection, responsibility, imagination, learning and self-esteem. Jannie Pilgrim, the woman behind "The Prince," has created five books: Breakfast for a Prince, Prince Garrett's Journal, The Beautiful Book of Possibilities, How the Moth Turned into a Butterfly, and the newest book to the collection, A Prince Garrett Christmas. The series also includes two songs, and a Game app. Jannie holds a Master's of Science in Human Resources and a Postgraduate degree in Training and Development from the Milano Graduate School of The New School University. She also holds a Bachelors of Business Administration from Baruch College of the City University of New York.
