Jasmine Hendricks was born and raised in the small town of Murfreesboro, NC. She

serves in many roles including being a mother, godmother, future wife, sister, auntie, favorite cousin, teacher, and student.

Jasmine is a current graduate student expected to obtain her Master of Art degree in Organizational Leadership from Chowan

University in the fall of 2024. She has a Bachelor of Art degree in Educational Studies. She has served as an educator for nearly seven years and takes pride in her current role as a University Counselor for Grand Canyon University.

The author describes herself as being loving, empathetic, nostalgic, and a woman who loves God. Jasmine enjoys spending time with her family and friends, talking on the phone, watching 90's sitcoms, and writing.

Jasmine began writing poetry and short stories when she was just a young child in Elementary school. In her ladder years of high school, she gravitated to a particular interest in poetry and the general topic of "love" and specifically "unrequited love".

This is just the beginning of Jasmine's career as a published author. This poetry book "Love Stories...In Words of Poetry" was motivated by pain, written through tears, constructed for healing, and deeply rooted in love.

Jasmine's first published novel "All of Us" is coming soon and is part one of the "Love Journey" series. The novel will share the author's personal experiences and eccentric but authentic journey of love through the eyes of the main character, Alexandra Obray.
