Autorenporträt
Like the protagonist in Beginner Bitchcraft, Jewel Albright Cohen has dealt with many trials during her life. She hopes that she is a little more self-aware than her characters are and has a much more mature world view. Cohen is a part-time professor who has taught everything from advertising to anger management to atoms, and that's just the a's! She is also a feminist, divorcée, serial dater, daughter, sister, and single mother. Cohen loves nothing more than reading a good book. She hopes that readers can find solace in Jewel's journey and realize how important it is to feel comfortable in their own skin.
