A spiritual guide, known as Thou-Est, relates the uplifting story of how deep faith and call to service led a physical therapist and her husband to turn an ordinary farmstead into a haven of healing for children who are medically fragile, traumatized or have special needs and their families, as well.

The stable of horses used in therapy sessions have been carefully handpicked and trained to encourage the children to focus on their own individual strengths, gifts and talents, enabling them to not only endure but to overcome the physical challenges and emotional distress which they face on a daily basis.

Riding the Path to Healing will take you on a journey that helps to remind us that all people, all animals, and actually all things on Earth are deserving of love and fair treatment.

Autorenporträt
While Jean T. Slobodzian now holds the title of Professor Emeritus at The College of New Jersey, she began her career teaching elementary and secondary students in a variety of locations across the United States. She also served as a nationally certified English-American Sign Language interpreter during that same time.

Now happily retired, she has made the shift from scholarly academic writing to creating works of fiction and poetry, and has begun the journey of recounting her own life events in memoir form.
