Jeanette Leclaire shares her life with her husband and their children; a cat named Binx; and their beloved dogs, Fern and Arno. The family enjoys outdoor adventures with their pups, often hiking and camping in locales that inspire Jeanette's stories. When indoors, Jeanette's creative passions include quilting, knitting, pottery, and jewelry making. A graduate of Keene State College with a bachelor's in studio art and elementary education and a master's in special education, Jeanette now serves as a special educator. The Tails of Fern and Arno began as a storytelling project for her students and evolved into cherished picture books for her family, igniting a tradition of love and imagination she now hopes to pass on to readers.
