Jennifer Ewart resides in Alabama with her husband Douglas. She has three biological children, two adopted children, and one grandchild. She works hand in hand with her daughter Brittanie, the illustrator of this and many of her other books. Jennifer's years spent tending to and nurturing the needs of her children and many others led her to write children's books in the hopes of teaching family values and inspiring all who read her books.
