With a passion for reading from very young preschool age, Jeremiah has also since embraced writing and drawing along his other interest in sports and music as he entered primary school. His past literacy achievements include winning make your own storybook First Prize in 2016 when he was 9 years old and also winning a gold medal in writing that same year with the ICAS writing competition (International Competitions and Assessment for School). He has also won various other Young Writers Awards of Children's Picture Book Category, among other local writing competitions in various writing section at State Level - including Dorothea Mackellar Poetry Prize and Roland Leach Poetry prize for 2018. He has also won the Special NAIDOC Poster Drawing School Award in 2018 (National Aboriginal And Islander's Day Observance Committee). Music-wise, Jeremiah plays both piano and violin, with his many musical achievements in the past includes winning various local eisteddfod competitions and also some more prestigious international competitions. The highlight of such would certainly include playing the piano at New York Carnegie Hall having won the Golden Classical Music Award again in 2016 & Grand First Prize Award where he was invited to play at the Salzburg Awards Ceremony in 2017. His other past achievements also include winning prizes for State Chinese Background Students Story Telling Competition in 2017, Own Music Composition First Prize in 2017, Second National Prize for Creative Thinking Skills Solve Future Problem National Competition 2018 (then representing Australia for International Competition in USA at University of Wisconsin-La Crosse 2018), 2018 ICAS Spelling competition (International Competitions and Assessment for School), Gold Medalist for Da Vinci Decathlon State Champion 2018, Australian Mathematics Competition Medal Prize 2018, Orchestra Prize 2018, Chess Prize 2018, History Prize 2018 and Academic School Yearly Prize 2015-2018 inclusive. Jeremiah also enjoys drama and was part of his school production of Ali Baba And The Bongo Bandits school drama production in 2018. Jeremiah enjoys playing various sports including athletics, table tennis, soccer, tennis and swimming. Jeremiah also has had the honour of being the school captain for the whole primary school in 2018 and was privileged enough to represent his school in 2018 & 2019 at the state inter-schools Swimming Championship.
