I have always had a passion for writing screenplays, poetry, music and now my first children's book, entertaining myself and others through rough times. Having been a homeless child, I believe that all children deserve an equal opportunity with a safe upbringing and have participated in children's charity organizations for many years. In A Christmas Dream, the orphan, Jecca and her newfound Great Dane companion, Malaya, roam the town to discover what Christmas and the holiday spirit is all about. Enthralled by the adventure, she begins to understand the importance of love and family and the joy that Christmas brings. The story ends in Santa Claus dropping a scroll, which is her adoption certificate. She finally gets the family that she always dreamed of, hence, A Christmas Dream. Not only is this book pertaining to the holidays, it tells a story to always trust in yourself and keep a positive outlook on this adventure called life.
