Judith A. Kohlasch grew up in a single-parent household and experienced physical, emotional, and sexual abuse throughout her life. Eventually, she married, became a missionary, and returned home to America when she became pregnant. She started parenting at forty-two years old. That marriage ended in divorce. She remarried and unfortunately, her husband died. She is a survivor.
