Judith Briggs Coker, native of Rutland, Vermont, has lived most of her adult life in Oklahoma, having been educated at Boston University Oklahoma City University, and the University of Oklahoma. Aside from teaching some years overseas, for the past thirty years she has lived in Norman, Oklahoma. The intriguing circumstances of the World War II Navy presence in Norman drew her attention and resulted in FIRECRACKER. She enjoys spinning a tale, traveling, painting, gardening, and bad puns.
