Autorenporträt
Picciotti takes her young readers on one of many happy and exciting excursions. Through her own eyes of motherhood and personal experiences with raising her own wonderful children, she enjoys creating childrens stories. Having a colorful way with the use of words s she captures the attention of her family and friends. Her mother even now reminds her that since her childhood she loves the sounds of rhyming and funny sounding words. By the time she was 25 she earned a masters degree in education in counseling. Helping professions have magnetized her for many years. Doing for others, giving of herself just feels right, she always says. Being an English Major and teaching high school for many years, she decided to share warm memories from the heart. The fascination of seeing the world through the eyes of a child began inspiring Picciotti when she became a mother for the first time. She would ask her young son questions about the world and what he saw. She loved the perspective from an eye level view! Her wish deep down is that her readers feel the excitement and the happiness from her stories.
