Rapidly gaining more and more attention, printing three dimensional objects is a technology which is viewed as life changing. Being one of the most important technological evolutions research and development opens new application areas from day to day showing up the freedom of shape 3D-printer offer. A new society, in which needed products and spare parts are printed rather than shopped grows up. Research is being carried on to discover this great invention further, with making the first conceived impossible possible. In a lot of areas, the printing method is able to substitute older production methods, which are not able to scope with the manufacturing technology. The outlined importance of the emerging topic leads to the instigation of initiating research and development on 3D-printing also in the field of functional textiles and apparel, since also in this branch new opportunities can be opened up. The special connection between unfinished and finished fabrics, which are designed to be flexible and deformable and the print, which should deform and recover with the textile, will become the object of the following investigations.
