The outlined importance of the emerging topic leads to the instigation of initiating research and development on 3D-printing also in the field of functional textiles and apparel, since also in this branch new opportunities can be opened up. The special connection between unfinished and finished fabrics, which are designed to be flexible and deformable and the print, which should deform and recover with the textile, will become the object of the following investigations.
