This book provides some understanding on electrochemical processes capable of removing colour, COD and BOD from tea wastewater. The method was optimized for total colour removal using specific energy consumption as the indicator while varying process conditions such as electrode gap, surface area to volume ratio, potential difference and solution temperatures.The method was successful in the reduction of COD, BOD and colour hence applicable in industrial wastewater treatment. This book therefore provides a success in the use of stainless steel electrodes in solving wastewater treatment challenges in the tea industry.
