This book deals with the Disaster Management in India with its structure and challenges lurking to it. It also discusses the case studies of the two disasters which struck in two different regions in the last decade. The author has made random survey in the Kachcch (Gujarat) and Kawas region (Rajasthan) which were severely hit by theearthquake in 2001 and flash flood in 2006 respectively. It also highlights some examples of various countries related to Disaster Management.

She earned her PhD degree from M L S University, Udaipur in 2012 on "Disaster Management in India: Structure and Challenges with special reference to Rajasthan". She published 5 articles in various journals & magazines.
