The discovery of the antineoplastic activity of ellipticine and its isomer olivacine has stimulated considerable research efforts to develop newer strategies to synthesize structurally unprecedented carbazole derivatives. In this book the recent advancements on the structure and pharmacological activities of various carbazole derivatives are well documented.
