I INTENTIONALLY DROPPED ('RELEASED") 'INCARCERATED DADS: THAT LEFT THEIR CHILDREN BEHIND ' BECAUSE THERE ARE SO MANY FATHERS AS WELL AS MOTHERS WHO ARE SPENDING TIME AWAY FROM THEIR CHILDREN IN PRISON BECAUSE OF THEIR PAST MISTAKES AND BAD CHOICES. THERE IS ALWAYS A MESSAGE IN MY BOOKS. FOR INSTANCE, 'TIES TO THE STREETS', WHICH IS A STORY BASED ON THE TRUE INSIGHT ON HOW INCARCERATED PARENTS BECOME A PRODUCT OF THEIR ENIVRONMENT AND HOW THAT ENVIRONMENT TRAPS US BY TAKING AWAY THE REAL TRUE MEANING OF LIFE AND REPLACING IT WITH THE MENTALITY THAT WE NEED TO DO WHATEVER IT TAKES TO SUPPORT OUR FAMILIES BECAUSE MOST OF US SPENT OUR LIVES GROWING UP STRUGGLING TO SURVIVE. MY INTENTIONS WITH MY BOOKS IS TO HELP OTHER AUTHORS OUT THERE TRAPPED BEHIND THESE PRISON WALLS, AND TO LET OUR VOICES BE HEARD IN A POSITIVE WAY. I WANT TO ENCOURAGE HOPE AND HEALIN AND TO STOP ALL THE DRUG DEALIN. TRULY GOD HAS SOME KIND OF TALENT IN ALL OF US. I PRAY TO HIM TO SHOW ME AND YOU THE WAY, BUT AT THE SAME TIME I ASK THAT HE UNDERSTANDS US ALL. BECAUSE EVEN THOUGH WE CANNOT DO ANYHTING ABOUT WHATS HAPPENED IN THE PAST. WE CAN DO A LOT ABOUT WHAT HAPPENS IN OUR FUTURE. I HOPE THAT I CAN INSPIRE ANYONE TO TAKE THOSE RISKS AND MAINTAIN YOUR CONFIDENCE NO MATTER WHAT YOURE FACED WITH, AND TO LET THE READER KNOW THAT MAN DOESN'T BECOME SUCCESSFUL WITHOUT FAILURE.
