This book reveals factors affecting the decision to select delivery care attendant and place of delivery in seven villages located in Chirano and Bekwai subdistricts in the Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai administrative district of the western region in Ghana. After witnessing a delivery conducted by a Traditional Birth Attendant (TBA) in my hometown in 2013, I decided to find out why some women in the locality preferred the services of a TBA despite the availability of trained midwives. I hold a diploma certificate in Disease Control from College of Health and Well-being, Kintampo - Ghana.
