This student Manual is designed with the aim to provide final year students in the filed with necessary knowledge to be able to address the above mentioned need. It includes, through four chapters, the distribution functions, forces that apply on particles in concentration processes, the mineral liberation predictions, as well as the application of modelling and simulations to specific processes. It is expected from the reader a solid foundation in mineral processing technics.

Mr. O.K. Ilunga is a Metallurgist Civil Engineer with a MSc from University of the Witwatersrand. He has more than 20 years in the copper and Tantalum industry and more than 12 years in academics. Mr. OK is currently in charge of Mineral Processing at University of Namibia and Executing Technical Director in Industry.
