The study involved older men and women aged 70 and above. The descriptive research survey design was adopted. A total of 720 respondents formed the sample size for the study. Instrument used was a structured questionnaire which was complimented by in-depth interview sessions.The data collected was analysed using descriptive and inferential statistics.Seven hypotheses were tested using Pearson Moment Correlation Coefficient at 0.05 level of significance. The result showed a significant relationship between rural-urban migration and the living conditions of older persons in rural areas of Imo State, Nigeria; living conditions of rural dwelling older persons were affected positively in the areas of health, access to quality nutrition through rural-urban linkages.Based on the findings,it was recommended among others that government shouldprovide social welfare facilities for rural dwelling older persons in Nigeria.
