Features of heart failure in patients with thyrotoxicosis are early and rapidly progressing decrease in tolerance to physical activity due to the weakness of skeletal muscle and the impossibility of increasing the heart rate. The effectiveness of treatment for patients with toxic goiter depends on the degree of recovery of damaged heart functions. At the same time, special attention is paid to the quality of life of patients after the elimination of thyro-toxicosis. It is noted that in some of them it does not become better, and even gets worse. However, in the literature there is no justification and definition of the limits of changes indicators in the structure and function of the cardiac muscle, which determine the severity of heart failure and at which there is a point of non-change of structural and functional changes in the heart to the norm, or improvement in achieving euthyroidism. The results of the well-known in literature research are ambiguous, refer to the changes of individual indicators without the interrelation between them and, in general, do not solve the improvement results problem of treatment of patients with toxic goiter.
