Is a Lecturer at Maseno University in the Department of Botany. He is a specialist in plant systematics and has researched in the area of medicinal plants and indigenous knowlegde. His interest is in studying the diversity of plant species and conservation of biodiversity. He is Married to Beryl Okello Mukonjia a Nutritionist.
