The study concluded that information factors viz: information accessibility, information relevance, information reliability and information usage made contributions towards the business performance of the Community Banks. Recommendations were made firstly that information flow should be seen as a variable in the business performance of the banks. Secondly, there should be formalized environmental scanning policy backed with legislation in the banks and thirdly, that environmental scanning crew comprising information professionals be constituted. Finally, information packaging for community banks and the development of community banking information systems should be introduced to boost business performance.
