Olamakinde studied Politics, Philosophy, and Economics (B.Sc.); and Peace Studies and Conflict Resolution (M.Sc.). He is also a graduate of the International Institute for Global Leadership, North Carolina, in Leadership Studies and Social Entrepreneurship. He currently serves with a global humanitarian organization in Northeast Nigeria. He is married to Toyosi.
