Adekunle Ibrahim recebeu o seu mestrado em Engenharia Informática e de Redes da Universidade de Sheffield Hallam, Reino Unido. É doutorado em Informática pela Universidade de Canterbury, na Nova Zelândia. Após vários anos de experiência de trabalho em indústrias de telecomunicações, ingressou na Universidade Estatal de Osun como professor em 2011.
