Produktbeschreibung
This seventh edition of the book is produced in line with the dynamism that has marked the Nigerian Tax System in the last decade. It is structured in line with the current Taxation syllabus of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria, and prepared as a response to the on-going tax reform in Nigeria. In writing the book, the author paid particular attention to the requirements of the various tertiary institutions in Nigeria that award degrees and diplomas in accounting The book is condensed into nineteen chapters, including all the traditional topics in taxation found in contemporary taxation texts and other uncommon topics namely, Tax Related Fiscal Policies and Taxation of Non-Residents in Nigeria. The Taxation of Companies is treated in great detail, incorporating all the amendments of the Companies Income Tax (Amendment) Act 2007. The Capital Gains Tax, Value Added Tax and Double Taxation Arrangements and Reliefs were discussed with many worked examples. The chapter on Petroleum Profits Tax covers the provisions of all relevant amendments, thus clarifying those aspects of the topic that created problems for students and instructors alike.
