Autorenporträt
Osita Obi was born in Onitsha, Nigeria in 1962 and has a BA (Hons) degree in English. He lives in Manchester, is married and has two children. Since graduating from university, Ositäs passion has been writing poetry and prose. His work has appeared in numerous anthologies and journals, including Okike, Revue Noire, Farafina Online, Sonnie Adegboyin¿s Frontiers: Nigerian Short Stories and Helon Kabila and Kadija Sesay¿s Dreams, Miracles and Jazz: New Adventures in African Writing. Ositäs own published works include The Girl Who Loved the Wind and Other Stories and a novel, Rage of the Sea Lion - one of five nominated for Association of Nigerian Authors (ANA) award for prose 2020. His latest work, The Monster Comes to Ceuta and Other Migrant Stories, is a product of his four-month stay at Calamocarro, a refugee camp in Ceuta, Spain.
