With wit and unabashed honesty, Elizabeth Baker describes what it was like to grow up and navigate through life with F.A.S.D. while attempting to explain many of the common symptoms of this diagnosis that occur when alcohol is consumed during pregnancy. Through laughter and sometimes tears, she is able to describe many of the issues faced by children and adults diagnosed with F.A.S.D. This book was written with the hope that it may enlighten both parents and caregivers about the many behaviors associated with F.A.S.D., while offering hope to all. Elizabeth lives in Ontario where she trains service dogs with her daughter.
