They said adulthood was going to be fun. But why did everyone keep their mouth shut when we, as little kids, wished to be adults as soon as possible so we could buy all the toys in the world, eat as much chocolate as we liked, or decide when to go to bed? Why did no one tell us before we wished for something we can't say "no" to anymore? To put it simply, why didn't anyone tell us how hard adulthood was going to be? And why has no one mentioned those hard things that are trying to break you when you move abroad and start your own life on your own?Let's be purely honest. There are not many people whose adulthood is as fairytale-like as the little kid's dreams. If you, however, know a person like that, spill the tea so we can go ask about their secret.Without jokes. Did you expect it to be so hard? Do you think you are alone with all of the things growing up brings? I thought so too, but luckily and sadly, it's not like that. And we haven't even mentioned the life of expats yet.
