They said adulthood was going to be fun. But why did everyone keep their mouth shut when we, as little kids, wished to be adults as soon as possible so we could buy all the toys in the world, eat as much chocolate as we liked, or decide when to go to bed? Why did no one tell us before we wished for something we can't say "no" to anymore?To put it simply, why didn't anyone tell us how hard adulthood was going to be? And why has no one mentioned those hard things that are trying to break you when you move abroad and start your own life on your own?Let's be purely honest. There are not many people whose adulthood is as fairytale-like as the little kid's dreams. If you, however, know a person like that, spill the tea so we can go ask about their secret.Without jokes. Did you expect it to be so hard? Do you think you are alone with all of the things growing up brings? I thought so too, but luckily and sadly, it's not like that. And we haven't even mentioned the life of expats yet.

Autor

To put it briefly, I'm a person who lives for books, coffee shops, girls' nights, and daydreaming in situations I should definitely not be dreaming in. Writing has also been my light and, at the same time, my nightmare my whole life (fellow writers, you know what I mean, right?) So you can say that at least some of that nonsense that goes through my head has some useful value. After growing up in the cold Northern Europe, in Finland to be more precise, I moved to Germany quite right after my graduation. Now I live in my little cozy flat in Berlin, still daydreaming and writing as always. What else did you expect?
