Autorenporträt
Louel C. Gibbons teaches American literature and Advanced Placement literature and composition at Brookwood High School in Brookwood, Alabama. She also teaches courses for preservice teachers in the College of Education at the University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa. Her research interests include rhetorical grammar, reading and writing across the content areas, and secondary students' reading interests. She has presented teacher workshops on these topics and has coauthored articles that have appeared in the Journal of Adolescent and Adult Literacy and the ALAN Review.
