Autorenporträt
Louis Barishs many academic degrees include a B.A. from the College of the City of New York; an M.A. from Teachers College, Columbia University; a Master of Hebrew Literature, Doctor of Hebrew Literature, and Doctor of Divinity from the Jewish Theological Seminary of America; and a Ph.D. from St. Louis University. He served as a chaplain in the U.S. Army and as spiritual leader of congregations in New York, Texas, and California. Rabbi Barish authored both High Holiday Liturgy and The Role of the Graduate School Professor and edited Rabbis in Uniform.
