The authors collaborated on the companion volume, Beads in Fashion: 1900-2000**. All three work at Ursuline College in Pepper Pike, Ohio--Lorita is an adjunct professor who teaches courses on beadwork and its history; Leslie heads the Historic Preservation program; and Constance heads the Fashion Department. Leslie has written over forty other books on the decorative arts and fashion, six of which were co-authored with Constance.
