Lorna Brockway Lieske is an award-winning educator who has taught American History and U.S. Government for more than 25 years. Although she'll tell you she found her calling in the classroom, Lorna has been a story-teller from childhood - spending summer evenings with friends in Tucson, Arizona weaving tales with her sister for neighborhood adventures they billed as "Story-Come-True." Lorna's love of story-telling followed her into the classroom where her original curriculum materials include educational short stories and plays on topics ranging from the French and Indian War and Westward Expansion to the Bill of Rights, the U.S. legal system, and basic economics. Lorna lives in Michigan with the love of her life, her husband Richard, and their dog, a loveable, loyal - and irrepressible - Shiba Inu named Riley.
