My name is La'Koya Brown, I am a mother to three beautiful girls and a wife to a loving husband. I had worked as behavioural support staff, a job I lost during the COVID-19 pandemic, but my second job allowed me to work from home, granting me flexibility, including travel time. This allowed me to start my own business, "Black Excellence Canada," and to be able to write this book, among other soon-to-be-published books! My core values are simply being respectful, having integrity/honesty, promoting diversity, and having fun doing it while instilling the same values and qualities in my kids.
